In 2009, Food Matters Manitoba prepared an annotated listing of food security policies, programs, and reports from across Canada. This new report, updates the first report with a new scan for policies, programs, and government reports from provincial and territorial governments.

This workbook was developed as part of a series of research projects on food security. As well as using research and experiences drawn from the Nova Scotia Food Security Projects, it incorporates ideas, insights and advice from people involved in food security issues and actions across Canada.

The Fraser Valley Food Network is a burgeoning group bringing together local community food tables to work together to eliminate hunger and create food security for all residents of the Fraser Region (Burnaby to Boston Bar).
This one page fact sheet was created as one in a series by the Capital Region Food and Agriculture Initiatives Roundtable (CR-FAIR), based in Victoria, British Columbia. The subtitle of the document is: "Growing dependencies and shrinking resources call for changes to our food system."

Subtitled "Everything You Need to Know to Fight For Fair Trade", this booklet is a great primer for those who want to better understand the scope and purpose of the WTO - and where and why it food security in communities around the world. It was published in 1999, will shed light on the many acronyms associated with the WTO and was co-sponsored by a diverse group of organizations, including the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, the United Steelworkers of America District 11, and the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, among others.
