The Rodale Institute wrote the proverbial bible on organic gardening, and have been promoting it since 1947. The Rodale Institute's website features organic news, research and advocacy; a certifier directory, crop conversion calculator, price reports, course offerings, resource directory, classifieds, articles, reports, farmer-to-farmer stories, forums, and gobs of information.

The FQH association encourages, co-ordinates and disseminates research in the field of organic food and health. They are based in the Netherlands.
