Published by the International Commission on the Future of Food and Agriculture in 2008, this 56 page Manifesto sets out transition imperatives and proposes actions for mitigating and adapting to climate change and for ensuring food security for all. On the basis of science, the report also identifies that research is increasingly showing that biodiverse, ecological and localized food systems reduce green gashouse emission while increasing food and nutritional security. The Commission includes some of the top food security experts from around the world.
